2008 Odyssey Philanthropic Teambuilding Workshops
The ‘Helping Odyssey’ Series

A cornerstone of our portfolio of programs, our philanthropic teambuilding workshops are specifically designed to bring meaning to people’s work. These programs vividly illustrate what can happen when people work together toward a common goal. They reinforce the ideas of listening, making it safe for associates to take risks and building something important from the ground up. And they help participants develop authentic connections to customers and customer service. When people learn to really value their customers, they learn to really value their work.

Build bikes for children with limited tools in a fixed amount of time to highlight better collaboration, communication and customer focus. Children from local Boys & Girls Clubs receive your team’s finished bikes. Neither the participants nor the children know they will meet each other in person to share the surprise. More info…

Build LN-4 prosthetic hands in groups of three for landmine victims and other amputees from around the globe. Hands are delivered to children and adults in developing countries at no cost to recipients through our relationship with the Rotary Club.  Leaders and teams learn and commit to ‘thinking outside the box’ and how to better access personal and team potential. Build playhouses for youth shelters, hospitals and schools in groups of ten. Team members develop a plan of attack, manage relationships and produce impeccable results, drawing out each team’s brand of creativity and quality, as well as the balance of a competitive-collaborative spirit. More info…
